A certified translation (also known as a sworn translation or a court translation) is one completed by an official court sworn translator. S/he ensures that the translation text is a true and accurate reflection of the original document.

If you are planning to visit the Czech Republic for an extended stay, or you want to live, work or study there, you will need to provide the Czech authorities with official documents. We can translate these for you, providing certified hard copies for the Czech Embassy.

Regulations stipulate that sworn translations must be presented as hard copies, so emailing is not possible.

In order to qualify as a sworn translator, you must have a Master’s degree in translation or interpreting, and have completed a one-year program at the Faculty of Law, and at least five years of experience.
